Dear Don Latham, I was interested in the Hyundai due to the safety reports and the warranty. I stopped in the dealership for information about the car. Ken Berton gave me lots of information. He drove a Santa Fe to the front of the building and showed me all the features of the vehicle; even everything under the hood. He offered a test drive but I declined at that time.
I told him I would also be checking into another Trailblazer and also a Toyota Highlander. I would be back in touch with him in a few weeks when I was ready for a test drive. He kept in touch weekly by phone offering the test drive. After checking into the other 2 vehicles I had more interest in the Santa Fe. I went back to Mr. Berton and discussed with a Supervisor the trade in value of my car and the out the door cost of the Santa Fe.
No compromise was reached. I gave up on Hyundai and gave more consideration to the other 2 vehicles although I still had more interest in and liked the Santa Fe. It was tiring and confusing and I just decided to keep my Trailblazer for another year. Mr. Berton followed up with another call and suggested that I come in so he and another Supervisor could try to work out more satisfactory terms. I did go back a couple of days later and met with a different Supervisor. This time we both compromised on the final price and I bought the Santa Fe. The color I wanted was not in stock so they gave me a Santa Fe to drive until the color I wanted was located. It was available within a few days.
Ken Berton is quite a Hyundai cheerleader. I am sure you are aware that he is an asset to your organization. He was very helpful, interested in helping me get the car with no obnoxious pressure. He made sure I knew all about the parts of the car, showed me how things worked, answered all my questions and gave me information about some of the things I forgot to ask.
I am happy I have the car and pleased with the performance and mileage. I appreciate your-and other employees'- letters thanking me for my Santa Fe purchase.

On Saturday, the 23rd of January we purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe at Parkway. We wanted to write to you today to let you know how pleasant our experience was in that regard.
Our sales person was Ken Berton and he was without a doubt the most informed and courteous sales person we ever dealt with in purchasing an automobile. He answered all of our questions and went over everything about the car before we drove off the lot. He did, just a great job.
Any of the other Parkway employees that we dealt with were also courteous, even when we decided to take our financing elsewhere.
We are both 70+ and have purchased several cars in different states and Mr. Berton is at the top of the list. You run a fine organization, or as used to say while I was still working, a well greased machine.

In your recent note to Carol and I you mentioned thay Hyundai would be contacting us regarding our purchase experience with our 2011 Sonata SE. Thought you'd be interested as well. We actually leased our new SE and finalized everything on March 30. I had met and spoken with Ken Berton several times prior to the 30th. Also spoke with Dave Christensen as well. Dave was able to pick up the SE we really wanted, a pearl white one, from a dealer in Jacksonville.
Mary Margaret, there is a reason we purchased/leased our second Hyundai from Parkway - your people! Your Dad always makes a point to chat with Carol and I when we're in for service with our Azera. Chad handles our service appointments promptly and personally.
Our Sonata was just great. Ken and Dave made us feel comfortable and when we left Parkway that afternoon we actually felt that we "got a good deal.

I would like to relate to you a delightful experience we had at your Hyundai showroom. My wife and I had been talking about possibly replacing our 2003 Santa Fe. Since the weather Monday was a bit unsettled, we decided at the breakfast table to check this out. We arrived at the Hyundai parking lot at 9:15 AM and were met by Mr. Ken Berton as we were getting out of the car. Our experience started with this meeting.
Mr. Berton took us inside and inquired as to how he could be of service to us. We then related to him our desire to get information that would help us make our decision. Ken took the particulars as to the condition of our car and took it to someone to inspect it. We then discussed what we were interested in with him and he told us what was available. He was also making suggestions to us and showed us cars on the lot. We settled on the one we thought best suited our needs and Ken went to work computing a price.
Ken was very thorough with his figures and answered all questions to our satisfaction. To make a long story short - we had bought a car we hadn't thought possible in one visit to the dealership and drove it home!!
A very satisfying experience. We certainly will be telling all our friends about our experience with Ken.
